Children can benefit so much from board games and card games, it's a shame more parents don't use them for the great mental and social development tools that they are.
Childrens' games help with math skills, pattern recognition, turn taking, following rules, tactical and strategic thinking... Children also benefit from spending time with their parents in an enjoyable, loving social environment, rather than just staring at a TV.
For all the parents, or people with firends who are parents, do the children you know a favour and introduce them to some of these great childrens' games.
